Hello! I'd like your thoughts on whether these components compatible with each other.

What about the notes below? Should I take them into consideration?

I selected the parts myself after some research, and I do have some general knowledge about parts and the like, but not enough to be entirely confident of my selection and compatibility concerns/issues.

**Primary usage will be for gaming.**

Compatibility Notes:[/B]
  • The Thermalright AXP120-X67 59 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the ASRock Z790 Lightning WiFi ATX LGA1700 Motherboard.
  • The video card PCIe 16-pin power connector adapter is being supplied by three 6+2-pin power connectors. Please ensure that the three 6+2-pin power connectors are not daisy-chained and do not share the same power cable.
Disclaimer: Some physical constraints are not checked, such as RAM clearance with CPU Coolers.

Thanks in advance :)

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JqR8VW ...Primary usage will be for gaming
i'd go with a better GPU considering the capability of the CPU for gaming,
RTX 4070 Ti Super or better.

and a 2x 140mm air tower cooler.
this slim low profile thing is definitely not going to do very well gaming with this CPU.

would also be looking at faster memory, but if you can't find a good DDR5 7200+ deal with tighter timings these will do.

would add a second larger SSD for game installations apart from the OS\basic applications drive.
the OS drive can be smaller unless you add a ton of applications along with it.
and what will be the primary use of the 5900RPM HDD?

that same case is going for $89.99 at Newegg right now.
and they have the Super Flower Leadex III 850w for only $109.99.
that's ~$70 savings right there, plus another 100w.

Thank you for that, I'll probably stick to intel because of personal preference (I'm used to it)
Can you explain why the 850W PSU though if its consuming 657W? isn't 750W enough?

Also I'm trying to keep a motherboard with built in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth to pair my headphones to it without needing a USB Bluetooth device, and using an ethernet cable for internet.

Finally, is there a specific CPU fan size I'm looking for? For the i7 13th/14th gen

To be honest, i dont understand the difference between DDR4 and DDR5, nor the number that follows, i just picked something that i thought would be good, but i dont mind changing the memory to something better.

As for storage, i do plan on getting a Seagate SkyHawk 4 TB 3.5" 5900 RPM Internal Hard Drive but it didnt appear in what i pasted for some reason. I'll mainly aiming for more storage so i can keep all my games installed without needing to remove some of them every once in a while for more storage as im doing now.

I also dont mind changing the case, as i just picked a decent looking medium case without putting much thought into it.

And the PSU, i also wasnt super sure what to aim for, but all considered, how much stronger should the PSU be than my computer's power consumption?

you do not want games installed on a slow HDD like this, or an HDD at all.
especially newer games.
their performance can be negatively impacted drastically.

that is why i asked what your plan for this drive was in the first place.

you want a reliable unit built with higher quality materials.
checking warranty details will usually give you a good idea of a unit's quality if you're not up on modern standards.
10 years is the lowest i would go for, but there are many nice 7 year warranty models.

for wattage, i would usually aim for the highest available in my price range.

thanks for all the help...

any aspects of a system that you are unsure about should be researched thoroughly.

you will be using this system for some time i would guess and knowing the layout and capabilities will be a big asset in it's use.

just following some member's planned component list can lead to buyer's remorse, later confusion in regards to performance capabilities, future upgrade conflicts, and many other issues.

for now you should take some time and look into articles and threads dedicated to CPU cooling,
memory standards, power supply build quality & wattage requirements, difference in available disk technology and performance, etc.

if all of this seems a bit out of your league, you may just want to have a local shop build a system for you and leave all future repair/warranty and possible upgrade issues up to them.

Modern GPUs are plagued with increasing transient spikes so it doesnt hurt to keep a little headroom for safety and longevity of your components, might also be useful in future upgrade.
Also I'm trying to keep a motherboard with built in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth to pair my headphones to it without needing a USB Bluetooth device, and using an ethernet cable for internet.
Bluetooth and wifi comes integrated with the board...

Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX211 (PCB rev. 1.0)
- WIFI a, b, g, n, ac, ax, supporting 2.4/5/6 GHz carrier frequency bands
- BLUETOOTH 5.3
- Support for 11ax 160MHz wireless standard
Realtek® Wi-Fi 6E RTL8852CE(PCB rev. 1.1)
- WIFI a, b, g, n, ac, ax, supporting 2.4/5/6 GHz carrier frequency bands
- BLUETOOTH 5.3
- Support for 11ax 160MHz wireless standard
(Actual data rate may vary depending on environment and equipment.)
