Are these normal CPU temps while gaming? (I7 7700k)

Hi guys, here are the relevant specs:
CPU - i7 7700k
Cooler - Cooler Master MasterAir Pro 3
Motherboard - MSI B150m PRO-VD

It seems that my CPU's temperatures are way higher than they should be.

On idle the temps are between 39 and 44 degrees, which isn't perfect but acceptable as far as I know.

While gaming, when the CPU usage is somewhere around 60% the temps are, most of the time, above 80, usually about 82-85, but can spike to 90/92 for a second.

When the usage is at 100% the cooler is loud as a chopper and it struggles to maintain temperatures below 90 and they do reach around 92.

I would also like to note that there is no dust problem and the CPU cooler is properly attached to the mb.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal and if not what could be the cause?

Well with two heavyweights like that, it could be an airflow issue as @dan28453 pointed out. You can test that straightaway by gaming with your cabinet open. See if that's able to cut temp significantly.

And also, Did you check which processor is taking the load while gaming? It would be easiest to verify this by checking your GTX's temp and load while gaming. If it's rather low, it might indicated that your intel graphics is going most/all of the work.

That's not usual. Try downloading another CPU temperature measuring app and see if the readings are the same, if not then maybe you should consider purchasing a better cooler?

These temperatures are fairly okay if you aren't using a graphic card, that is to say your cpu is doing both jobs. You know this is the case if your gpu is an Intel one.

If, however, you're using a dedicated graphics card and these are the temperatures you're encountering, first, check to see if it's the card or the cpu game is running on as it's possible to switch between the two.

And finally, in the cpu cooler installation, did you remember to use thermal paste? this is rather important and could easily result in poor heat dissipation.

Oh, no, I have a GTX 1070 Gaming X, also the thermal paste is there.
