Hello everyone, I just got a new drive (Crucial P5 Plus 1TB). Thing is, I have yet to switch to PCIe 4.0 as my current mother does not support it. I've already made an investment into a new rig but that's not coming until later this month.
Meanwhile, I've gone ahead and installed the ssd to test it in case it has some sort of issue. In terms of normal use there is nothing to say as it behaves just as expected but I've ran some tests just in case and It would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know if they fall within the expected range. Thanks!
Current rig:
CPU: I7-8700
MOTHER: Asus Prime Z370-A
RAM: 16 gb Crucial Ballistix 3200 mhz
STORAGE : Crucial P5 Plus 1tb
*Needles to say that all temps are reasonable, to say the least (I tend to have my air conditioner running in the background so the room temp is somewhere around 20°C/ 68°F
*Once again, keep in mind that this is a gen 3 mother running a gen 4 SSD
