Are my temps normal and I bought a big ass cooler to keep my cpu cool and my pc quite but I don't think its working that good.
CPU temp: 37c at idle and 49c in gaming.

CPU: Q9650 oc'ed to 3.61ghz @1.212v.
Cooler: Hyper 612 v2.(will changing the stock fan on this cooler to something like sp120 help?)

And on a side subject:
My gts240 reaches 85c and is loud at the same time 🙁
I know that card is supposed to be hot but can I do anything to keep it cool or at least a bit quite?

Solution
very good temps nothing to worry about for the CPU.

You can have a look at your case air flow and improve the gpu temps. making sure the airflow is unidirectional...say infrom the sides and front and out the back. the overall air displacement from the front to back should be constant....eg with just two fans: 40 cfm front fan and a 40 cfm rear fan...

Solution
the cpu is ok

the gpu is supposed to work like that

sometimes you can improve airflow inside the cae, but since it is a old and power hungry gpu,, it is easy to make it work full load, so the noise and heat

consider changing it for a newer gpu, that uses less wats, generates less heat, less noise thanks to more and bigger fans and heatsink and forget the turbine you have there

my configuration of fans is:
Front: two 120mm.(intake)
Top: single 140mm.(exhaust)

My case has a 120mm vent on side and a 120mm vent on the back.

EDIT: My psu takes air from the inside of the case so add a 120mm exhaust too.

for that gpu form the 10 series, the 1050ti or maximum 1060, more than that, gpu will be bottlenecked by the cpu, so some fps will be wasted but it will work well

the next generation form amd, perhaps in april the rumored rx490, that surelly will be bottlenecked too

the 11 series form nvidia will be the same and is at least 10 months away

it depends on what budget you have nad if you are thinking on upgrading later

if the system will remian unchaged, then the 1050ti is your gpu to get

if you plan on make that pc grow, a 1060 or a rx480 is great to have and later upgrade mainboard and cpu, ram too

it all depends on your plans for the pc and the budget for the gpu and possible future new parts
