Are they compatible?

I am [strike]making[/strike] building a computer, and I found these two great parts. Before I buy them I was wondering if they would work together. The graphics card is a GeForce GTX 1050 and the motherboard is a Gigabyte [strike]Sorus[/strike] Aurus ga-z270x-gaming 7. I hope you can help, because I really need it!!

Yep, any modern gpu will work on any modern motherboard, they both have a pcie x16 connection.

They're wildly unbalanced though, and you need a k processor before you can OC.
