Are Yeston Graphic Cards Good Enough to Buy?

Yeston GPUs are quite cheap as compared to others... Should I buy or not?

Yeston only has a 6 month warranty on GPU's so that doesn't say much for long term expectations, also forget about customer service if you live in the US. I had a RX 580 GameAce sent to me from a friend in China, I ended up reflowing the solder right out of the box since it looked like a "What not to do" in a basic electronics class. The PCB of that card was underwhelming even with 3 fans, for basic use it ran hot as hell and you could forget about overclocking at all, we ended up customizing a water block for it which dropped normal temps by nearly 20 degrees but it still would not take much of a overclock. Drivers were another issue, it worked better with generic since theirs were unstable.

Well, it doesn't look like a "fake" brand at the very least, so the cards are probably legitimately what they claim to be, though build quality is anyone's guess. As has been said though, don't expect to get anything resembling warranty coverage out of them. Even if the manufacturer covers something, shipping the card back to China would likely be quite expensive and could potentially be a multi-month process.

How much of a price difference are you seeing? Paying a bit more for a name-brand card with proper warranty coverage in your country is probably a safer option.

I honestly wouldn't, but only because of all the GPU's Yeston looks like the lowest quality of all the brands. I have a Chinese GPU from an obscure brand and I love it so I'm not going to say its a completely bad idea. you often get what you pay for, but then again often not.....

Honestly I'd rather take the chance with a used XFX, EVGA or Gigabyte GPU over a Chinese brand with a very poor warranty and extremely hard to deal with customer support but that is all up to you. It's not hard to find 960's $75+/970's $140+/980's $225+ with at least 6-months warranty left. With the 1000 series still over MSRP the 900 series still offers a great value for the price.
