Area 51 R2 5820K....what's next

Has anyone upgraded from the 5820K to something better? my 5820K is OC'd to 4.2 without any issues. I see people upgrading to 5960X but say the performance is worse off and its 800+ right now! I'm not interested in cores (6 is enough) I'm more interested in speed with 1 and 2nd core. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, any OC'ing suggestions for the 5820K is also appreciated (Although it doesn't stick after a boot).

The 5xxx series has been superseded a few times already, so if you're really wanting a little extra performance, you'll need a new system and something like an 8700K.
