Hi all,

Since my highest lvl char is 41, I haven't seen that many areas.

A lot of people refer to them by their short code.
These are the ones I know:

BB - Booty Bay
IF - Ironforge
SV - StrangleThorn Vale
SW - Stormwind City


What for instance is "SM" besides a sexual preference?
And can someone pls fill the list a bit?

I use that a lot too, in the beginning people was asking what I ment,
but it seems to be catching on 🙂

Back when I knew the name, but not the terrain, I thought (possibly
biased by my living in a forest) that it had a lot of pine trees ("1000s
of needles" -- get it?), so I took to calling it Thousand Pines or
"1kp". I never quite got out of the habit, which seems to drive
everyone I talk to about the place nuts :)

I've not been tracking all the replies, but it'd be interesting to note
the duplications -- where 1 abbreviation means multiple (perhaps
comically different) things.
