Question argh! How do I reset a hotspot password without the router

I used to have a DSL router and set up my hotspot/remote connection with it. The router no longer exists. But now I want to be able to use my remote connection via my phone's hotspot. Unfortunately I don't remember the password (network security key). How can I change or reset it? I see no way on my phone (Android) or in Windows, including under Settings > Mobile Hotspot. I changed my NETWORK name/password, but that's not what shows up under "available networks" on my PC. The only way I can connect with my phone now is by tethering. I'm probably missing something obvious but don't see it. Searching the net didn't help.
