Hi everybody. This is going to be my first computer build. I am planning to spend around $900 for this thing. So far I have gotten a few parts that were on sale. This will mainly be for gaming.

So far that is $657 if I count the CPU at its $230 regular price and heatsink at its $35 price. I was foolish to not get the CPU when it was $190 on Tigerdirect. I am willing to wait just a bit longer. So far I did not really see motherboards go on sale so I would just get one at regular price. I am going to get the Crucial M4 128GB once it goes $100 again, the last time it went there it went out of stock incredibly fast. I know that I should be buying all my parts at once but I really want to get good parts for sale prices for a kickass system to last many years.
So I kind of only need suggestions on which motherboard and which case to get. I will be using my external enclosure laptop drive usb 2 for HDD storage until prices get lower and reliability of HDDs aren't garbage anymore. Looking at Tom's review of motherboards recently, Biostar xe4, MSI GD65, ASrock extreme6, and Gigabyte's UD3H all look like great boards.
The review says to basically get the board that has the features you need. Well I don't really know what I need. I know nothing about the front port header things, but from what I have gathered, if the mobo has usb 3 front port things, I can put it in front port case that does not have usb 3 on it. I will most likely never getting dual gpu's so SLI or Crossfire do not matter to me. I don't know what else I would put in the pci-e slots. I would probably add a wifi card later down the line.
I did kind of overkill with the 650w Seasonic, but it was a good deal on a superb modular gold psu and just I bit.
I am going to OC but after hearing the news of IB heat issues it does not really bother me much, a 4.2 GHZ OC is fine with me, if I can do more than great, as long as I just OC a little bit and keep max temps below 80.
For the case, I want an ATX mid tower, with the psu placement at bottom of case, and decent cable management. Those dust filter things on some cases seem pretty cool. I currently can't seem to grasp paying $100 for an aluminum box, but it seems like the price for midrange cases.
I am also wanting to add a few extra fans to my pc for cooler components and slightly higher OC ability with RAM, CPU, and GPU. The only thing I know is there are 120mm ones and 140mm ones. I guess I would want my pc to be decently quit but it is not a huge issue, but surely a plus if it is silent.
One last thing. I am curious and interested in having a dualboot with a Hackintosh. It seems Gigabyte's boards are compatible, but not any other ones. It would be a really neat thing to show off my friends and be able to run both OSes in 1 machine.
I would really appreciate any help, tips, opinions, or advice. I know I made a long thread with many questions, bear with me!
