Artifactive 9800 Pro?

HEy guys, I own a old system;
k8t neo
Radeon 9800 Pro
Amd+3000 socket 754 8O
wd 120 gb
antec 450 Watt
When I purchased NFS Most Wanted, It had a really high graphic card requirement, I used Ati Tool .24 Beta, and overclocked my 9800pro, ran great, so I pushed my luck and enabled world detail at max, after an hour of gameplay, my pc restarted, tried playing it again, shutdown! Now I cant play any highend games w/out the GPU resetting on me. I scanned for artifacts, and I had some even when it was on stock setting, I thing my gpu is phuked. Is there anyway I could attempt to repair it , or will it be a permanent damage?? I'm upgrading my system by the end of this month, so I just want to know what I can do, If there are any options 8O

seriously I don't have many exp points in my OC abilities, but that's wierd, try to increase the V just a lottle notch...

atotool overheats the card to much. the heat can actullly makethe gpu-heatsink come looose! check it. buy artic cooling vga silenser.
