artifacts shows when browsing or stay idle

Recently i brought a xfx rc 580 8gb. I connected this gpu with hdmi to vga converter as my monitor doesnt have any hdmi port. Windows working fine until i do some simple work like chrome, watching video etc, some red blue dot just covered my screen and freez,, and turn into black screen. After 4-5sec later the screen back. In 30 min tge problem showed up like 4-6times. And sometimes without restart the screen doesnt come. But, in game artifacts doens create any problem. I had been gaming like 90mnts, but that artifacts problem doesnt show up.... How this problem will be solve??
