asking advice on 4k gaming comp build

Going to buy a new pc for 4k gaming and would like to ask for advice/opinions.

here´s my future build so far:
CPU:AMD FX-8370 4.0 GHz 8-core AM3+
Motherboard: Asthus Crosshair V Formula-Z RoG AM3+
GPU:3x Gigabyte GV-N980G GTX 980 Gaming 4096 Mt(SLI)
CPU cooling:Corsair Cooling Hydro H100i Extreme
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 1600 Mhz 16 GB (2 x 8GB)
SSD: Crucial MX100 512 Gt SATA III SSD 2,5
HDD: WD Green 4 TB SATAIII 64 MB
Power supply:Fractal Design Newton R3 1000W, 80 PLUS Platinum - ATX
Optical drive:Asus BW-16D1HT/G 16X BLU-RAY RECORDER SATA

Anything missing, incompatible, better alternative parts and other stuff like like that.
I would not like to go over 5k(euros that is) budjet but if there is significant improvement ill consider it.

This things is incredibly overkill, but it'll push out ultra at 4k without an issue. Also leaves 1,300 euros left over in your budget if I did my math right. Could be used for another monitor (or 2).

FX-8370 would bottleneck 980 tri-sli quite hard.

what cpu would not bottleneck this then(any on amd or should i change motherboard and processor to intel) ?
4 way sli has actually reduced performance on some games wich is why im not going that far.
want a screen with g-sync and havent found any other screens with 4k,60hz and g-sync

You'd need to change to Intel. I only added it because it's in your budget.

Everything you would need, the PSU is overkill. But if you can save $20 and get the 1000w if you want, go ahead. Small price difference for 300 more watts for OC to your heart's content.

Woah skippers stop using these huge SLI rigs with standard-laned CPUs. You will need a 5930k if you want to benefit from these cards. Bottleneck does not reside in the CPU power but the actual lanes that it has.

Highly recommend an EATX, full tower a build like this.

Quad SLI is a waste of money, really. After two cards scaling becomes rather poor.

You would be better off waiting for GM200 or Fiji XT and Bermuda.

No. In the few (!) games with proper support for quad SLI, sure, but those are few and far between. And with many of these games, FPS is already high enough that two (or three) cards would suffice.

Fact is, scaling becomes poor going from 3 to 4 cards. Going from two to three can have a benefit at 4K but quad SLI is largely a waste of money.
