After some advice I scaled down my build, because I have a 1280x1020 res monitor, I will be playing the games on my 720p widescreen tv.

This is what I've come up with so far, if anyone would like to give some advice, I would also like a suggestion for a wireless keyboard and mouse with decent range that I could use in the room (it would be like 8-10 feet away from the pc). Thank you!

EDIT: Fixed the links, sorry about that!

There is no guarantee. Generally its about 50/50 odds. Even if you can unlock a core or two, its probably not going to OC as fast as if leave it 2 core. The reason its being sold as 2 core and not a 4 core is that something failed testing.

SO I've gotten all the parts, I decided to go with the EVGA superclocked GTX460, seemed like an awesome deal with the lifetime warranty. Now I just need to find 4 hours to set aside and a really good pc building guide on the net, if anyone could recommend one I'd appreciate it, since having all separate parts I doubt their users guides go much into fitting/attaching to each other.

Well I've hit my first snag, I got the cpu and ram installed to the mobo, layed the mobo down into the case and lined it up with the input cover, but none of the holes in the mobo are line up with the holes in the case. :fou:

The case came with 8 plastic sticks that I'm guessing are the spacers but I have no clue how to attach them to the case or line them up with the mobo, the instructions didn't come with any pictures of how to do this.

edit: those plastic sticks are drive rails, not spacers. Those I'm missing completely.

edit2: I also just realized I didn't buy a hard drive  Unless I just use the one I got in my old pc, I don't know how much that would bottleneck the new system, its 160 GB.

The size of the HDD will never bottleneck the system. The speed might. But not to a large extent. So use the old HDD for the time being. You should have an IDE cable with your Mobo (the flat one that resembles a radiator belt) - I'm guessing your older hard drive is IDE. If it's SATA, then those pink/red little ones should do the trick.

Gotcha. I still can't figure out the mobo installation, the case didn't come with what I've looked up to be spacers, and none of the holes match up...is my case not compatible with my mobo?

I've uploaded pictures of what I'm working with, maybe someone can tell me if I'm missing something:
