Hello all, i honestly dont know if this is a motherboard problem or not, but i am having some issues. i have a asrock 970a-g/3.1 motherboard and my pc has been randomly freezing with no bsod error or anything. i have heard that 970 is not a good chipset is what makes me think it might be a mobo problem. it usually happens when i have a lot of things open but not always like i said its usually random. I dont know that much about motherboards so dont know of anything to try or any other info to give but that. it runs flawlessly other than this problem. my specs are:

mobo: asrock 970a -g/3.1
cpu: fx 8300
ram: corsair vengence 1600 2x4gb (cpu supports 1866)
gpu: gigabyte rx 460 4gb windforce oc edition
psu: evga 500
hdd: i have 4 dont honestly remember all the brands, 1tb, 250gb, 500gb x2
ssd: 1 250gb as main boot drive

I honestly didn't know I was supposed to. I thought that would auto detect. I should probably do that.

i set the memory parameters in bios...they were set to 1333, 9 9 9 24, 1.5...set to 1600, 10 10 10 27, 1.5. that was the specs that i looked up for my ram. did i do that correctly?
