I just updated my bios and after installing it I pressed enter to restart my pc,but since then my screen doesn't get a signal,I tried cmos, leaving the battery out for a while but nothing changed, what am I supposed to do?

Solution
Ryzen 7 2700x requires BIOS 4.50. So downgrading to 3.20 made your motherboard incompatible with your CPU. You will need either a replacement (updated) BIOS chip, or you can bring the computer to a repair shop which can temporarily install an older (supported) CPU so you can re-flash the BIOS.

While the page I linked was for warranty service, since they charge $15 + shipping for a replcement BIOS, it wouldn't be a warranty item. If Akortek can provide the BIOS for you cheaper than ASRock, then yes you can get it from them. Make sure you tell them that it needs to be BIOS 4.50 or newer, since that's the oldest version which supports your CPU.

Yes it's the box marked "BIOS ROM" in the manual. Be very careful to note the...
Does the motherboard beep when you power it on? The beep(s) is what tells you whether or not the motherboard is working. The display may not work if you've got it plugged in to a GPU and the motherboard is set to use integrated graphics and output to the motherboard's display port. That can happen if an update resets the motherboard settings. Try plugging your monitor in to the motherboard's HDMI/DVI/Displayport socket.

I assume "tried CMOS" means you shorted the CMOS reset jumpers? If not, try that. Instructions should be in the manual to help you locate the jumper.

If there's no beep (make sure the internal speaker is plugged in), you probably flashed the wrong BIOS or the download was corrupt. Flashing a bad BIOS is the quickest way to brick a motherboard, which is why we recommend people not update the BIOS unless you know the update fixes a problem you're having. It works 99.9% of the time, but it's hell the 0.1% of the time it fails.

Fortunately, on most motherboards, the BIOS chip is physically removable. You can buy a replacement BIOS chip and see if that gets your motherboard working again. They're pretty cheap and easy to replace.

I plugged in the internal speaker both ways but got no sound,so I guess it's bricked then?and if it is,where is the bios chip couldn't see it and are there different ones for each motherboard,if yes what do I need for an Asrock AB350M?And the reason for getting bricked was probably because I installed an older version(3.20) on my motherboard but my mb was 4.70 already.

Do any fans spin or LED's light up, even on the power supply?

everything works the same except the screen output, don't know if the speacker does work though because I never used it until now,the case, cpu cooler and gpu LED's all light up

Looking through the manual, you need a buzzer installed to hear the beep when it powers on. The sound isn't sent through the speakers. But the manual doesn't state where the buzzer plugs in. Is there one plugged into your motherboard? It should look like this:

The beeps give diagnostic error codes which help you figure out what the problem is.

That's another possible way to screw it up too. If you downgraded to a BIOS which doesn't support your processor, it will power up but won't boot. And you can't re-flash as the processor is needed to flash the BIOS. If you happen to have an older processor supported by the 3.20 BIOS, you can install that CPU, flash the BIOS, then reinstall your newer CPU.

The BIOS location is given in page 5 of the manual. It's between the CMOS battery and PCIE1 slot.

It looks ASRock will send you a replacement BIOS for $15 plus shipping.

but on asrocks site it says warranty only works within north america,I live in Turkey, but on asrocks website it showed an store called akortek that sells their parts, should I still try getting it from asrock and if yes would it cost more because of the warranty or should I just call akortek?

Yes it's the box marked "BIOS ROM" in the manual. Be very careful to note the orientation, so you do not install the new BIOS backwards. Take a picture of it with your phone before you start taking things apart. And you may need to purchase an IC extraction tool depending on how easy/hard it is to pull out. Sometimes they're wedged in there pretty tight. Although since you don't really care if you damage the old BIOS chip, you could (carefully) use a pair of pliers.

Edit: And be careful to ground yourself or discharge any static before handling the new BIOS and motherboard. While a small static discharge often doesn't harm most computer components, it can erase the EEPROM used in the BIOS, corrupting it (the EE stands for Electronically Eraseable)..

It's a good idea to install the buzzer if you haven't. The single beep when you turn the computer on tells you everything is working OK. If it doesn't beep or gives multiple beeps, that'll warn you of problems and save you some time diagnosing.

forgot to mention it,it doesn't have it plugged in but came with an extra package and it has 4 pins with "spk_c11" if that's it

I'm contacting the store I bought my motherboard from right now if they can send an bios chip,if not I just contact akortek and order from them if they can, gonna update here once I get to order it :)

I used it for about 2 months and it said 4.70 on the mb,I guess that was the bios version?
