I am fairly new to PC's and I was wondering if the ASRock B450M/AC motherboard is compatible with the Ryzen 5 3600.

Yes it has Ryzen 3000 series compatibility out of the box.

be careful.. not all B450M came with 'factory' compatibilty for Ryzen 3000 unless it's stated on the box.. Example MSI board(B450) known for it MAX version.. Some of them need to be update BIOS for Ryzen 3000.

The ASrock B450M/AC was released after Ryzen 3000 and come with 3000 support out of the box.
