Question AsRock B450M pro4 M.2 support

Hello,

Currently, I have an M.2 nvme SSD installed in the 1st Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1). But I would like to install an additional M.2 SSD for my system, but the problem is that the second slot supports: "
M.2 Socket (M2_2), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module" So if I understood correctly, this slot will only accept SATA M.2 SSD and not NVME? Or is there an ability to use NVME in that port? (I thought about getting an NVME just because it is currently cheaper than SATA M.2 alternative).

That does seem to be the case. It would say PCI Express if it could use NVME in that slot.

Correct.
The M2_2 only supports M.2 SATA drives.
