Question ASROCK B660 Need help with compatibility

I bought a Pre Build (I know cringe, but i was tight on money at the time)

The pc is a iBuyPower SlateMR
I upgraded the GPU successfully to a Gefore RTX 3060
I also bought an Intel 12th Gen i5 12600K Core Processor

My current motherboard is a B660M-C

It says on the manual and online it SHOULD be compatible.

Of course, I'm so new to this i do not know, and do not want to cause damage to my new pc. any help would be appreciated, thank you.
