asrock extreme 4 error code 00

I was changing my chassi and everything worked before but when i put all components back in the board showed code 00. What can be wrong?

It means that the CPU does not get power, or does not work. Make sure that the 8 pin power cable is properly connected to the motherboard.

All the components powers on and gets power so i think everything is connected right.

I suggest removing the CPU, checking the socket if any bent pin and, if socket ok, reinstalling the CPU and the CPU cooler.

Me and my friend did change the cpu and cooler but still 00.
can it be something wrong with the motherboard?

You've installed different CPU and still 00? Is the CPU fan spinning when starting the board?

We did not try another cpu. We just took it off and cleaned it and checked if therd was any bent pins. I dont have another cpu so i dont know if that would help. But the computer is only 6month old and it worked yesterday. Bjt now after the chassi change i get the error code.

Try taking the board outside the case, for ruling out a short. If still 00, I'd RMA both motherboard and CPU.

Should i take out the board from the chassi and then reinstall it in the chassi again? I didnt understand clearly.

Ok so i put it on a cordboard and start it up.

Now i have put the motherboard uot on a cardboard with the cpu and ram and gpu plugged i get the 99 error code. Any idea?

And the crl cmos light is on.

Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute). Remove all RAMs, start the board and see what code getting.

Everything is the same so i have returned it to the store and i hope i will get a new one.
