[SOLVED] ASROCK Fatal1ty X470 Gaming Motherboard CPU Power Connections

I have an ASRock Fatal1ty X470 Gaming motherboard and I am upgrading for the first time in several years and I need to know if I am supposed to use both of the CPU power hookups on the board? One is an 8pin CPU power plug and the other is a 4pin CPU power supply plug. I have a Corsair RM850X 850 watt power supply and it is capable of using both but I didn't know if maybe the 8pin is new style and the 4pin is for older power supplies? I don't want to mess anything up.

The 8 pin is enough the additional 4 pin is for.extreme overclocking but if you have both connections might as well use em.
