Question AsRock H310CM-HDV + Intel i5 9400F Headless mode?

Hey everyone,

As the title suggests, I'm trying to find out if the config I mentioned supports headless mode as I'm trying to run a NAS server from it. I'll be trying to run ProxMox on said server.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think that combo would be impossible, since you will need a GPU to get POST. You could use a discrete GPU, something that's very low powered like a GT1030 or lower(assuming there won't be an UEFI VBIOS issue if you went with an GTX750Ti). Perhaps borrow a GPU from your friend or neighbor and see if that option is a possibility...? One other option is to swap the F SKU for a non-F SKU, you get an iGPU.
