[SOLVED] Asrock h87m pro4 startup issues

When I try to start up my pc it doesn't show anything on screen. I connected a speaker and heard 3 short beeps, I searched it up and all I could find was memory problems. Although I've tried to swap my ram out it still doesn't work. Can someone please help?

16gb ddr 4x4 sticks
GTX 1070 gaming x
ASRock h87m pro4

Reset BIOS...? Double check all cable connections and AUX power ports?

Start with minimal boot.
CPU, 1 stick of RAM (make sure you put it in the correct slot/check manual), keyboard, monitor (plugged into MB port). See if you can get into BIOS. If you can, repeat process, adding one component at a time.

Did it ever work or new board/cpu?

Because that board needs a bios update to support your cpu unless you've done that previously or it's a later h87 revision

4790 supports ddr3 not ddr4 memory.

Tried it all, nothing worked. Although afterwards I'm getting 4 beeps at startup only instead of 3

I bought it refurbished from a pretty well known Dutch site. How do I update the BIOS? If I need a different cpu my brothers got an i5

It has to be a haswell not haswell refresh cpu to update the BIOS what doe she have

Right next to the ram there's the following text:
DDR3_A1
DDR3_A2
DDR3_B1
DDR3_B2

so how do I need to place my ram?

4 beeps is a system timer failure. So your ram may work in one slot, and try and reseat your cpu and check for any bent pins,if not your board is dead.

Does it work without the GPU?
I have the same motherboard and I've tried with a GTX 2080 and had the same problem.
With my Sapphire R9 280x and it beeps sometimes, but it initializes sometimes too.
