Question ASROCK motherboard audio issue

I have a ASROCK A520M-HVS motherboard and about 1 in 7 times when I boot up Windows 11 I get no sound from my speakers connected to the audio out jack.

If I sign out of Windows and sign in again sound is usually restored but this is obviously not ideal.

HD Audio in the BIOS was set at AUTO and I have just changed it to ENABLED to test if it solves the problem, but why would it have issues on the AUTO setting ?
