I have a ASROCK A520M-HVS motherboard and about 1 in 7 times when I boot up Windows 11 I get no sound from my speakers connected to the audio out jack.

If I sign out of Windows and sign in again, the sound is usually restored but this is obviously not ideal.

HD Audio in the BIOS was set at AUTO and I have just changed it to ENABLED to test if it solves the problem, but why would it have issues on the AUTO setting ?

Wonder why the standard Windows 11 Realtek audio drivers didn't work right?
That is UAD (Universal Audio Driver), some times a problem with W11 installation and permissions . same here but works in W11 insider version because it was installed differently,
Driver from Asrock is older analog driver directly from Realtek which also supports Nahimic sound with much better sound controls.
