ASRock P67 fails to boot after motherboard drivers are installed

Just built a brand new computer over the weekend, and everything seemed to be going quite well. Had a minor problem with Windows not being able to detect my hard drive, but after switching SATA ports Windows installed normally. I'm mentioning this because even though Windows installed fine onto the hard drive, every time the machine was booting up it would say "hard drive not detected." Then it would boot to Windows like nothing happened. I wrote it off and decided not to worry about it, no idea if this has any relation to the problem below.

I then put in the CD that came with my ASRock P67 motherboard and intstalled the drivers on it. It tried to automatically reboot to finish the driver installation, but never made it past the boot screen. It just freezes there, telling me to hit F2 for BIOS, but nothing I do can get me off of that screen.

Are there any sort of known issues with this driver, maybe a newer one available online that I should use instead?

And for the sake of completeness, here's the system specs:

ASRock P67 mobo
HITACHI Deskstar 7K1000.C 1TB HD
8gb DDR3 1600 RAM
Radeon 6950 (drivers not yet installed)
Antec EA-750 power supply

Thanks in advance for any help!

No button does anything on the frozen boot screen though. Can't get into BIOS, can't use any of the other options, can't ctrl-alt-delete or anything. It's completely frozen. I just mentioned that it says "hit F2 for BIOS" to show what screen I was stuck at.
