Asrock Sata storage not being recognized on boot priority

I turned on my pc and it went to the bios. I checked the boot priority list as it was weird for it to go to the bios instead of the windows screen. It was empty so I unplugged and plugged in the SATA cable for the HDD and it still didn't get detected. I changed cables also and the HDD is still not getting detected. Overall the HDD is not being detected on the bios and I cannot boot windows. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I also tested SATA ssd storage it seems that the SATA storage are not being detected by bios. The HDD seem to still be spinning up but is not being detected. The Optical Drive is being detected now but not the HDD or SSD. Boot Priority only has the optical drive when plugged in not the storage.

MOBO: ASRock Z270 Extreme4
HDD: Western Digital 1TB
PSU: Corsair TX550M

reset your bios back to factory default. if someone turned on nve or m2 slots in the bios then your sata ports will turn off. in the bios under sata settings make sure there still set for achi mode.

I did a factory reset and changed the SATA Mode to AHCI (used to be Intel RST Premium with intel optane system acceleration) and it still didn't recognize my HDD.
