SPECS:
CPU- Ryzen 3 3200G
RAM- 2 x DDR4 KingBank 16gb 3200hz
STORAGE- Kingston V2 M.2 SSD
PSU- Gigabyte P550B

I have bet trying to get a motherboard that will boot but nothing has worked. The motherboard is being tested on its box with the CPU fan loosely attached w/o thermal paste. I repeatedly test it with no change in the lights I reseated the RAM in all slots and repeated the CPU. I tried Corsair DDR4 RAM from another working machine and it won't boot. I even pulled the CMOS battery for 5 mins and the same 2 lights keep showing up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

never heard of kingbank.

psu is a fire hazard they were known to explode so i would not use it.

install ram in slots 2 and 4.

if its a single stick slot 2.

max memory speed is 2993mhz so if you do get it booting set memory to 2993 or 2900 speed

So I set the ram in the 2 and 4 slots and even used 1 ram stuck in each slot and the same dram and CPU light turned on. Would a 3200mhz ram stick just not reach 3200mhz in this board? I'm fine with it as long as it works.

I see that I might need to do a BIOS update but this doesn't have a flash option and I don't have another am4 chip. Any ideas? Should I get a ryzen 5 5500GT instead?

Try each ram stick in slot 2 only . Slot 2 is boot second from CPU.

Remove the battery leave it out of the board. For 1 minute and put battery back in.

Turn off power supply remove cable from wall and PSU rear of the case.

Hold the power button in for a few minutes if it springs to life don't worry that's normal if there's a bit of power left in the caps what this does is drain all components.

Plug cable back into wall then PSU the flip switch back on.

Wait for post.

CPU can't do 3200 only 2900 on memory clock so only go as high as that or 2993
