Asrock Z68 question

Anyone experience and know off hand what it means when I start up my computer and it does this?

It will start up for a few seconds, and then completely shut down, then it starts up again on its own.

Once windows is up and running every thing seems ok, but it just started doing this recently.

I want to check the indicator on the motherboard to see what codes it gives, but its covered with a video card and I wanted to see if anyone knows what this is before I have to cut zip ties and dig the parts out.

It sounds to me that its a fualty power supply, it could also be an imcompatible power supply some power supply support only amd or intell, which have differnt apic instruction for the motherboard which controls things like turning on reseting and so forth. If you can replace your power supply

Well, tracked it down to a bad memory stick. 2 days till I couldnt return it, glad it showed problems now.
