Asrock z77 Extreme 4 lan driver taking too long to install

I just got it and decided to install the lan driver but the driver has been installing for about 20 mins and the progress bar is stopped halfway. Did anyone else experience this when they first installed the driver?

Are you installing from the mobo utilities and drivers cd?

I first tried to from the cd but only waited for like 5 mins and then downloaded the driver from the internet and put it on a flashdrive to see if that would work but is still taking too long.

Ok, I left it for about an hour or more and still nothing. I'm gonna contact asrock and see if they can help.

I'm going to do a clean install of windows 7. Forgot to mention I was switching out my MB and didn't think that the old drivers from the other MB would interfere with the new one. I will update this thread after I do so.

After doing a fresh install of windows I was able to install the drivers with no problems
