Hey guys!
I've recently bought myself a new SSD and some RAM to upgrade old parts.
The problem is the RAM is only reporting HALF of the installed ram.
I've cleaned and checked all the sockets ram and CPU so assume it's not a physical problem.
Every Slot and Stick work on their own
The XMP Profile is not showing up as an option and the DRAM Frequency cannot go over 1600
I've tried up and down grading Bios and serveral CMOS clears.
I have no experience OC'ing so I'm not confident to start messing with Voltages. +.05 is as far as I've taken it.
Here are my parts - I've also got screenshots of the Bios screen.
4 Sticks (Bought 2 at a time) of G.Skill Ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231460
Asrock z77 Extreme4 Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293
