I've been reading this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/326256-30-help-setup-raid-asrock-extreme4-please and it's been helpful, but now I'm stuck.
I have (4) 3TB drives in correct ports and a 2TB drive win7 in a port that the RAID can't see. I went through the BIOS RAID set up and it says it worked and I have just under 9TB in a RAID. However, in Computer Management in Win7, it says I have 4 drives with 700GB of unformatted space, and no RAID.
I have also had that issue where a mobo thinks a 3TB drive is only 2TB and has about 700GB leftover, which makes me suspicious about these 700GB drives that win7 thinks it sees.
I looked at the ASRock drivers list and didn't see a SATA RAID driver.
Do I need 64-bit Win7?
So? What did I miss?
