ASRock Z97 Extreme4 vs Extreme6?

Solution
The ASRock Z97 Extreme6 has some additional features that you most likely won't use such as, but not limited to, Thunderbolt connector, M2, multiple LAN ports.

The Extreme4 has three PCIe x3.0 lanes and can support SLI, Quad SLI, CrossFireX, Triple CrossFireX, and Quad CrossFireX. They run at x16, x8/x8, x8/x4/x4.

The Extreme6 has two PCIe x3.0 lanes with one PCIe x2.0 lane. It runs similar to the Extreme4, but it does not support Triple CrossFireX.

I know that I did not list the PCIe x1 lanes but the above are the notable differences.

All said, the Extreme4 is more than sufficient for your needs unless you need some of the extra features that the Extreme6 comes in. VRMs is the same for both.

Thanks! I'll just go with the Extreme4 because I won't be needing those few features.
