I've just completed a budget build using an ASRock 97M Anniversary motherboard installed inside of a DYIPC Cuboid-G and everything went fine except the 17-pin layout of the Motherboard doesn't match the 19 pin cable of the case. Is there adaptability for it?

They are both USB 3.0 as indicated by the labeling on the cable and the motherboard. It reads USB 3.0 on the chassis cable, USB 3.0 Front and TPMS1 labels right above the pins on the motherboard .

I've checked into other cases and so far the result has been consistent-19 pin. But with the motherboard it's been hit & miss: I'd find 17 pin then 19 pin connections on the board from the same manufacturer. Guess the only other thing left to do is to contact the Motherboard company and find if there's a way otherwise no front USB 3.0.

I feel very foolish but I discovered the USB 3.0 front panel connection on the motherboard next to the 24 pin ATX connection. I finally connected the cable where it belongs except when I plug in any device I receive the error: "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it" with a recommendation to try reconnecting the device and if Windows still does not recognize it, replace the device. All devices connected into the port returns the same result and if I were to connect it to the USB 2.0 ports the devices detect properly.

Thanks for the guide, verdict is faulty usb3.0 port of the case. there could also be fault with the power switch because at times the computer won't power on when pressing the button. Time to Submit an RMA for this case.
