assassin creed black flag wont work except in safe mode

so as the title mentions im not able to run AC4 in normal mode soo i decided to launch in safe mode and it worked soo i do think that the problem which is causing AC4 not to work is a third party application soo im thinking about Refreshing my PC (windows 8.1) but im scared to lose my FILES not PROGRAMS even though i have a backup but i dont wanna lose my precious photos and memories ... Can anyone help me pls 🙁

Refreshing doesn't erase your photos. If you are scared something will go wrong, you can copy them onto a flash drive as a backup.

im a pretty unorganised guy i dont really know where are all my photos ._.
