Assassin's Creed Syndicate low cpu usage

I recently bought Assassin creed syndicate and played it.The first two missions run smooth as butter but after that in sequence 3,its lagging so much.I dont understand it.I checked in the task manager and the cpu usage was between 13-50 and sometimes it goes to 70-100 ingame.Please help.

i5 4210u 1.7-2.7ghz
Nvidia geforce 840m 4gb
4gb ram

Nope. That is the magic (bad vodoo magic ) of Nvidia Optimus. It balances the power of both graphic cards to increase battery life and performance. Google it and see for yourself.
The integrated card is not disabled in my laptop. I run older games on it to save power.

Note: You can see this video. But I don't have a tv with a hdmi port nor in the game it shows which graphic card it is using.

Well, my graphic card (which is mentioned in the very first post) is a laptop one .
So any help you can do ?
Why is my laptop not being able to play ACS ,whereas it ought to.
Has my laptop become a piece of junk ?

Hey..when ever u play high end games on ur laptop...keep ur charger connected...when the power supply is connected with laptop the laptop works at its best performance
