[SOLVED] Assetto Corsa Competizione and 5700XT

Wanted to see if there are any other ACC players out there having this issue. Just built my new SIM rig:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TsmmDx

Resolution with the triple monitors is 5760x1080, 120hz, Freesync On

And everything is humming along nicely. It benchmarks perfectly, no throttling, etc. Plays Assetto Corsa at 100fps, no problem, PCars 2 95 fps, no problem. All details turned up.

Then we get to ACC - 35-39fps at max detail. I mean its literally the same game engine as Assetto Corsa, and yet 60 less FPS.

Is there some weird setting that i may have turned on that I need to know about? Does the game just hate AMD hardware? I googled and found some others complaining of low FPS in this game with a 5700XT, and yet others claiming 70-80fps, but who knows if you can believe them.

Any ideas?

Is the game update version 1.2.1 installed?

Looks like a beta game and getting tested over time by the customers

Might be of help:

Yes I am on the newest version. I did some research yesterday and found some similar posts but this one is better than the one I found, I am going to try it tonight and let you know how it works.

I think my main error is high detail on the mirrors, when I am on the pre race menu which is in the game engine its 90fps, and then as soon as you're in car its 39, which of course is when the mirrors are displayed. However I'm sure there are some other settings I've gone a bit high on as well being the game is so unoptimized.

Thanks!

Using a combo of turning down the mirrors and some of these adjustments I have the game running about 55-60 fps, since I'm on triple screens and freesync is on it is very acceptable performance. If it wasn't triples it would be higher. Turns out the game is not optimized very well at all.

Thanks for the research!
