I'm looking for a quality socket 1155 board which supports Pci gen 3 for future. Need a good durable board with nifty overclocking features, easy bios, SLi certified, good diagnostics (on off switch on board) and among other thing like warranty.
These are the two best picks in my opinion.
AsRock extreme4 gen3 $189 (thoughts?)
MSI z68a-gd65 g3 $219 (thoughts?)
~ edit ~ is it worth investing in a fatality board? Z68?

I'm not sure any PCIe boards have been released. You probably need to wait more. Look for them to come out when IB does.

or the MSI board you mentioned. Personally i prefer Asus boards coz they are really top quality!

Looking at newegg... I see some boards PCIe 3.0.

There are plent of pcie 3.0 boards around. I want one due to i am about to build a computer. Suggestions?

What needs to be enabled to activate 3.0? Ivy bridge of sandy bridge-e?
Which fits in the socket 1155?

For now the slots will be used with only 2.1 cards. Coz i dont think PCI3 cards are out yet. Or have they. Nothing needs to be activated. You just need a PCI3 card to max out the slot.
