Astro A40 TR + Sound Cards

Ok. I have been looking at the Astros because I want some better sound than my Sony headphones, considering I play ESL for Rainbow Six Siege. (That game is all about sound.) Well if you're looking at the A40's they come with a DAC so you don't need a sound card. though when I recieve my Astro Mixamp today i'm going to frankenstein it into my soundcard and I can tell you what's good when I do?

Be careful as per the microphone though espsecially on the new TR mixamp

Yeah, that would be helpful, thanks. So do you think I should definitely get the mixamp since I don't have a soundcard?

So paired with the Sony MRSA-1's with the sound running from the optical output on my PC I can hapily say it's one of the best sounds I have ever heard
