Hi!

Gets up to 75-76 c in furmark and some games. Room temperature about 24 degrees, and the components are in a R4.

Is it too high or normal at 24 degree heat? Looked around a bit and most have at benchmarks received around 66-68 degrees at load.

Using the MSI afterburner "atuo" mode on the fans.

Sincerely

Solution

I would keep the dust filter, and have it it 5 degrees higher personally.

If you want cooler temps run a more aggressive fan curve in afterburner.

MSI Afterburner tends to run the fans at around the 30-45% range at nearly all temps aside from 80+.

Those aren't terrible temps, but if you're really worried about it you can set what fan speed you want at what temps in Afterburner. For instance my fans go up to almost 80% before I hit 70C (I like aggressive cooling even if it does burn out the fans faster).

Good luck

Removed my front dustfilter and it went down 5 degrees så staying at 71 atm.

my temps under load used to be 75-80C on the GPU in my previous case (NZXT H440), as the airflow was restricted by the front/top panels

switched to the Corsair 780T and now never goes over 65C

either way, it was within safe limits, but I changed the case as I just prefer to have as optimal airflow as possible
