Hello,

I have an Asus MG248Q monitor which has a 144hz refresh rate. It's 1080p and I have it plugged into a displayport. My GPU has 3 displayports and I tried all 3, with all showing only up to 60hz.

I also have a second monitor which is 60hz but that's plugged in through HDMI so that shouldn't have anything to do with my main one not getting 144hz right? How do I get my main monitor to be on 144hz? I've tried all displayports and still not showing 144hz.

Thanks everyone!

Solution
I was able to find it, in Windows 10 just had to go to Settings > System > Display > Display Adapter Properties > Monitor and then under Screen Refresh Rate change it to 144hz.

Hi there, did the cable come with the monitor? Strange if it did.

There are displayport cables only rated for 1080p @ 60hz and if you bought the cable separately could be the reason why.

High Bit rate cable is whats needed for 144hz
