i even tried it in crossfire with a SAPPHIRE 4850 and still the same problem.

is this a dx10 problem?

has anyone found a solution?

please help! 🙁

I have also the same problem in last level.

my configuration :
OS : Vista SP1
CPU : Q9450
VGA : GIGABYTE 4870 512M
MB : Shuttle SP35P2 Pro (barebone,chipset P35)

Ok ppl, i have the same problem. This problem is not vga related. its a ram related problem. if you have a ram usage monitor software which shows ram usage for last couple of minutes, you will see that right when the game crashes, your ram usage is %100 (if you manage to get out of the game and go back to windows). its not normal, i have 4GB of ram. and this one game was using like 2.4 GB. so its a (i dunno what its exactly called) ram leaking problem. now based on these informations, any help would be great...

thats a good point, it could be ram related.... however i have noticed that on this forum and others, people who have been having this problem all have an ATI card which means ATI driver and directx 10. other people have run that level on directx9 and had no problems. ?? wierd man.

Have problem with asus 4850 & Crysis at the last level (Reckoning)?
I have met the same trouble with d3d10core.dll "in cause"

My configuration : Vista familial 32 Bits, Intel core 2 quad Q6600 2.40Ghz

This is what I have done:

- Find the file C:\Windows\System32\d3d10core.dll

- Save it somewhere (copy/paste)

- Delete it from the system32 directory and rename the "d3d10_1core.dll" in "d3d10core.dll"

How to manage a dll file rights on Vista:

Click right on the dll file, Properties> Security> Advanced> Owner tab and then
Modify:
Other users & groups and choose : Administrators - Validate all

Return on the first window Properties >Security tab : Select Administrators > Modify, total control, Click OK.

NOW:
When you will start the game, a window will show you a message about d3d10core.dll missing or something else; don't worry about it, just click 'ok', the game will continue to run...

I have finished Crysis like this 8)
