ASUS A8N-SLI Premium SLI question

Do i need to use the SLI bridge on the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium motherboard :?: :?: i am running 2x 7800gt's SLI with the bridge but was wondering if i really needed it for SLI.

SLI Bridge is only for increase your band-width betwen two SLI Ready Graphic card ! because of PCI Express's band-width limitation in SLI mode ! if you want you can remove it ... in this case your SLI performance will decrease but still they are both Functional .......
