Asus Anti Surge

Hi fast question. My mobo Asus Z170-P and psu Corsair 750RM. 3 months ago there was power outage ( for short time ) in my house,and my pc restart with message: "“Power supply surges detected during the previous power on ASUS anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable supply unit.” Press F1 to continue." After restart is again fine. So question. Why after power outage i get that msg? Is this normal?

In bios i have AC POWER LOSS RESTART OFF. So why it is restarts with Anti Surge instead of shutting down?

I was in work when that happened so i cant tell how long was power outage.

Are you on a RM, RMx or RMi unit? On top of that don't you operate your system off a surge protector/battery backup/UPS? You should also pass on your full system's specs. In your BIOS AC POWER LOSS RESTART - Off would mean that your system will not power up if the power(from the mains) came back after a power loss.

If that was the only 2 times that has happened then I would not stress it the first is 100% normal you had a power outage.
The 2nd could of been normal also since you were at work the power could of flickered or a slight brown out.
That program is also know for false positives they have it set to sensitive.

Its Corsair 750 RM . Dont have surge protector/UPS.

Gtx 1080

Hi. Question. My pc working fine 24 hours without crashes on idle and in games. But few days ago i left like always my pc on when i go to work. Pc was on idle in Windows 10 desktop. Only utorrent in background. I back from work and i met this:" "Power supply surges detected during the previous power on ASUS anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable supply unit". After this i made a tests. I run GTA V , 3dmark , Unigine Heaven for couple hours and no reboots. And question. Why i get this reboot from desktop and Asus Anti Surge warning?


Also there was very small power outage ( 1,1-5 second )in my house in this day. That can be reason of that restart? But why pc not shutdown but restarted with Anti Surge then?
