Asus aura freezing

I been using aura for a few days fine and then suddenly whenever I go change a setting and click apply it freezes and when I turn aura off it freezes to. What is causing it to do so?? Could it be conflicting software?

Have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date?
Speaking of which, you forgot to include your full system's specs and the lighting modules you're using alongside Asus's Aura Sync.
