Hi there, I'm not usually the one to ask for help, but today I've had a frustrating issue regarding my relatively new motherboard, an Asus b350-f board paired with a ryzen 7 1800x, 16GB of RAM and an old r9 270x gpu. I've tried resetting the board by removing and reinserting the battery, also tried reseating RAM and gpu.

Here's a picture of my post screen which is unresponsive to any input.

After this screen, windows is loaded in as normal.

One point to note is that I know my gpu is dying and sometimes causes crashes and artifacts on screen.
Any help appreciated, cheers.

The first thing I would do if I were you is try removing one RAM stick at a time and see if the problem clears up (if you haven't already tested the RAM with Memtest that is)

Next,,,,,does your board have onboard graphics? If so, remove the GPU and try onboard graphics. The old GPU may be causing this problem.
Often when you see those odd symbols on the screen the GPU is acting whacky.

Finally, there is a jumper on the MoBo that you can use to hard reset the MoBo. Have you tried that?

Hi, thanks for your reply, memory is fine and tested using memtest yesterday, 2 faultless passes. No onboard graphics due to the nature of ryzen processors. Tried using the jumper, gave same odd post screen, then gave the option to recover bios settings by pressing F1, but this does not run setup, it goes straight to loading windows again.
