Question ASUS B360-F ROG Strix - Intel gen 9 cpu

I recently bought asus B360-f rog strix motherboard in an online marketplace. And i bought intel i5-9400f separately.
I dont know the current BIOS version in my mobo. ASUS website says it will be able to support intel gen 9 cpu if BIOS version at least 0802.

My question is, what will happen if i try to turn my pc on with BIOS that not yet support intel gen 9 cpu? Will it damage my mobo/cpu? because i dont have any gen 8 cpu to check the current bios version.
