[SOLVED] ASUS Bios recognizes HDD Windows Disk manager does not

BIOS recognizes all of my HDD's, windows only recognized one of them, CSM is enabled because I couldn't boot my SSD without it. z390TUF gaming if that helps anything
 
Solution
If windows is installed in legacy mode, then you can boot only in legacy mode with CSM enabled.

To boot into UEFI mode, windows has to be installed in UEFI mode.

List full specs of your system.
How many drives? Any M.2 drives? List model names of all your drives.

When a device in SATA mode is installed on the M.2_1 socket, SATA_2 port cannot be used.
When a device is installed on the M.2_2 socket, SATA_5/6 port cannot be used.

I have a 980 pro in my m.2 slot but none of the drives are in the sata 2 port. Like I said the bios recognizes all of them but cannot boot from any I had to turn csm on and legacy boot
