Hello,
I own an ASUS All-in-One PC featuring the Asus ET2220I motherboard, and I'm interested in upgrading its CPU and memory. Upon checking the ASUS official website, I couldn't find a CPU and memory support PDF file for my motherboard. Even after reaching out to ASUS technicians, I didn't receive any helpful information regarding CPU and memory upgrades.
I believe the ASUS ET2220I motherboard has the capability to support an Intel i7 processor, and I intend to replace the original Intel i5 with it. Additionally, I'm confident that the motherboard can handle 16GB of memory, and I plan to replace the existing 8GB module with a 16GB one. Upon inspecting the case, I observed that the memory modules are of the laptop style.
Could anyone provide guidance on the most suitable and powerful CPU for this motherboard, as well as recommendations for compatible memory modules?

From what I can gather it's an LGA 1155 socket CPU. You might be able to upgrade but it wouldn't be by much. Most AIOs (at least in my experience) have always been on the harder side to upgrade as they typically use weird configurations, etc. to make it all fit in a confined space.

As for the memory, it's likely going to be 204-pin SDRAM that is installed since it looks like laptop memory. Odds are you're going to be limited to 1 or 2 slots at most.

You could also run either HWInfo or CPU-Z and it will give you a better idea of the type of memory and how many slots there are.

I've successfully replaced the original Seagate 1TB hard drive with a Samsung 870 Evo 1TB SSD, and the difference in boot-up speed and Windows loading speed is remarkable!

Following a Google search, I identified the latest CPUs compatible with LGA 1155:

2. Intel Core i7-3770 https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...r-8m-cache-up-to-3-90-ghz/specifications.html

Upon comparing the two, the 3770K is designed for overclocking, boasting a CPU base frequency of 3.50GHz, whereas the 3770 is non-overclockable with a base frequency of 3.40GHz. Despite the negligible $10 price difference on eBay, I've decided to opt for the 3770K, even though I don't plan to use the machine for gaming or overclocking. I appreciate the extra capability it offers.

Regarding memory, I acknowledge your point about the 2-slot limitation. Both CPUs support a maximum of 32GB DDR3 1333/1600, and given the non-existence of 16GB modules for the 204-pin SDRAM, I plan to install 16GB DDR3 (2x8GB) at 1600, available at: https://www.amazon.ca/Timetec-PC3L-12800-PC3-12800-Unbuffered-Notebook/dp/B0145WDNF2?th=1

I have a few questions:

2. I'm unsure about the location of the power supply unit in the system. Can you provide guidance on this? Additionally, do you think the current power supply will be sufficient for both the new CPU and memory?

3. Lastly, do you have any advice or recommendations regarding the selected CPU and memory configuration?

1) Typically the stock cooler fan is configured/designed to fit the needs of the AIO constraints (space is key remember). If you can get a stock CPU cooler with the proc that you order, do so, it may still be included with those. It's worth a shot trying to see if it will fit. I don't really recommend trying any aftermarket unless you take measurements, etc. and from your earlier posts I gather you're not that worried about that kind of stuff (some people are).

2) Typically, AIOs get all their power from the AC Adapter that comes with it as it typically is a VERY LARGE brick. Again, space is the name of the game for most AIOs and it would be quite difficult to squeeze a standard or even low-profile PSU inside some of these designs.

3) I think you're right on the money as far as the CPU and memory options you've chosen. It looks like the memory modules you linked are of the L (low-voltage) variety which conforms to what specs I could locate.
