I have ryzen 3 3200g right now, SO its all good? i was just kinda confused cause i saw some website saying that max frequency is 2666mhz and the box says 3200.
Whats the MAx frequency of this motherboard tho?
This is still correct.
2666MHz is the max native frequency. So when you put in RAM, it can run up to 2666MHz without needing to "overclock" the RAM in the BIOS. 3200 is the RAM speed it can run once you set it to do so in the BIOS.
Don't worry about this, people think RAM overclocking in this sense (XMP/DOCP) is risky, it's not, any RAM above 2666 (usually) needs to be set as such in the BIOS. Everyone running 3200 RAM has had to tell the BIOS to run it at that speed, and it is a simple - usually drop down box - setting...
